Albufeira Travel Forum

Hey!
Myself and 15 others are coming over to Albufeira in late September.
We are staying in our own private Villa in Guia, but are looking for some more entertainment. Of sorts anyway. We're all travelers here so we should all be aware of the street sellers trying to sell drugs, stolen goods etc down the Strip (I've been to Albufeira several times a year for 8 years), However this is the first time I'll be going with a large group of friends.
So we're basically looking for stuff that the whole group of us can do, We aren't really into the clubbing scene mainly because we can't stand dance music (Rock/Metal all the way!) Though we certainly aren't opposed to drinking!
Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Just a thought - how is your mob going to get from Guia to the dens of iniquity in Albufeira, some 4 - 5 miles away? That's 4 taxis worth! At least in late September you might have a fighting chance of getting taxis for the return journey!

And please don't make a noise going past my apartment, which will be on your route.

Most of the live venues should still be up and running late September eg Rock Cafe and Bank in the old town square. Plenty of room there for a group your size I reckon.

A few rounds of golf perhaps for those so inclined? Plenty of courses to choose from.

Then there's the boat trips from the Marina, everything from 1 1/2 hours to half a day and some 'full speed' 45 minute blasts in those big Zodiac type boats.

We're planning a stag party for early May and was wondering if it was busy at that tinme?
