Dalmatia - Dubrovnik Region Trogir to Dubrovnik and airport hotel
Posted: Sat July 26, 2008 01:49 PM UTC
In mid-september I'll be in Trogir and need to get to Dubrovnik by bus or boat. Any ideas how to do it because the next day I have a plane to catch in Dubrovnik? Also, since I'll have to overnight in Dubrovnik, I guess I should stay near the airport. And I know there are no hotels at the airport but wondering if there are any recommended apartments or hotels (not terribly expensive) not so far from the airpot? thanks, j

Bus departures from Trogir bus station are listed here:
www.trogir-online.com/eng/buses2.asp?bus=1

Note that Trogir and Split are close and well connected (by intercity and local bus lines); you might have more bus options from Split to Dubrovnik. For timetables visit www.ak-split.hr.

If you prefer a boat check www.jadrolinija.hr, it is a nice journey but takes longer than a bus.

In Dubrovnik I would search for accommodation near the bus station - it's where your bus will arrive, and also it is the place to catch the bus to the airport. You could stay in Cavtat (which is close to the airport), but that way you will most certainly have to take a taxi to the airport.
