Hi,
I have started to collect pages, which list up locations of Lean-To shelters (Laavu) in Finland. These huts have three walls, a roof and mostly a campfire site close to it for bbq. Some are just around towns and therefore perfect for a short escape from daily life, others are remote in National Parcs and hiking areas.
Hope to get a good list for finlandwide locations.
In case you know good pages, please let me know.

Sorry, there are no comprehensive lists of lean-to's in Finland, as there are so many of them. Usually the information is hidden behind hiking routes or nature paths. If you know which town you are going to visit check the town's or areas web pages for outdoors.

In addition to the lean-to's the travellers can use the Lapp-tent shelters. Both are mostly free, mostly with firewood, and mostly suited for staying overnight if you have your camping mattress and sleeping bag with you.

Many tourism companies, harbours and excursion harbours, etc. also have lean-to's and Lapp-tent type shelters.
