Hi all, I will be coming to damascus at the end of august. I will be staying for about a year and I am looking for a furnished studio to rent. does anyone have any suggestions how to find one?

Hi, thanks for your email. I will be in damascus two or three days a week and I am looking to rent an apartment for a year. I would prefer a studio, but if the work space is good, then I can share with roommates as well. I prefer professionals or graduate students. The price depends on whether it will be a studio or whether I will share the apartment. The most I can pay is $400, but I prefer to pay less since that would be too hard on my budget.
The location is not that important- I don't want in Bab Touma with a family. Bab Sharqi is fine, Abu Roumane is ok as well. I prefer not Mezzeh unless it is a very good deal.
So, if you could let me know some options, maybe I can tell you better what I am looking for.
