Help - I need a laptop (usb) to Olympus camera connection lead as i have lost mine and I would like to download to computer my photos. Is there a camera shop or similar in Amiens that sells such items. Thanks if you can help. Gilbert

I have yet to find a camera USB connection that was completely propitiatory.
Find a local FNAC or similiar store (maybe even a Carrefour or Auchan) selling computer cables and the like and look for a matching USB connector. You should be able to find a generic cable that will work with an Olympus camera.

You should be able to plug your camera card into the laptop and download directly without using a cable. If your laptop doesn't have an xD port, get an adapter. Any camera store would have one. You could also check Monoprix in addition to the places suggested above. (I have an Olympus and always download directly to the laptop. Wish I could send you my USB connecter. I've never used it.)
