Goa Graciano Cottages, Colva
Posted: Thu July 24, 2008 07:09 AM UTC
Hi all. Can anyone give me any adivce/opinions on Graciano Cottages. My parents want to book a holiday to Goa. However, they are in their 70's and their mobility is not good so they need to be within spitting distance from the beach and also avoid too many steps, hills etc. Apart from that, they are fun-loving people who love good food and good company. Your help is very much appreciated.

If money is not an issue, then book it in Radisson hotels which is in Varca beach in Goa.The staff are very helpful, the facilities are top of the line, there is an almost private beach for the hotel guests which is very, very safe. They have sea facing tents which have all the facilities that a room would have.I stayed here and enjoyed it a great deal.
My next choice would be Ramada Hotel, which is also in Varca beach. This is also up market, but is cheaper than Radisson.
Hope your parents have a good holiday.

Definitely some place with a clean private beach, Colva was filthy and beach had terrible bad smell... Check my Colva page, Calangute is better option for elderly Poeple I would say. or Majorda beach hotel if they like a quiet place ( not too far from Colva) but beach was lovely and clean...If you must go to Colva I would advise to go After monsoon ,when rain has washed away all the dirt.
Colva extremely beautiful but they do have a refuse problem at the moment..
