greetings,
my fiancee and I are planning a honeymoon to thailand and are considering phi phi, phuket and krabi areas. we are planning on going oct 20-31st. i'm looking for feedback on what the weayher is like. the books i've read state that its the end of the rainy season. I'm really looking forward to snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and just enjoying our time there. I appreciate any feedback. thanks. |

I was there in late october 2006. The weather was great. Very litte rain and mild seas. I think it's the prefect time to go. On Nov 1st prices go up and it's starts getting crowded. It will be hot but not unbearable. Do your snorkling in the morning to avoid the tour boats from phuket and krabi - especially at Maya Bay and around Phi Phi Leh. Kayak from Loh Dalam Bay to Monkey Beach for more good snorkling and to avoid boat traffic. Check out Chunut House for a cool place to stay - modern bamboo bungalows.
