Sorry, I can't answer your question but I can tell you the name of the field is "Wrigley Field" not wigley field.

Can you take Metra from Elburn downtown? From there you need to get on
the Howard/Dan Ryan RED Line going North. There are stops all along State Street in the Loop. State street is a 15 minute walk East from the Metra Station in the Loop. There are Red Line stops at Jackson & State, Monroe & State, Washington & State, and Lake & State. Your best bet is probably Monroe or Lake stops. Get off at Addison Street which is right next to Wrigley. Make sure you pay attention going home! Remember your stop. Go Cubbies!

I'd recommend checking the website below before you plan your journey, I'm not sure how long the track work is going to take but this past weekend the subway part of the red line wasn't running downtown and we had to go to the elevated tracks which were several blocks away
Go to http://www.transitchicago.com/ and click on Customer Alerts That website should also help you plan your total journey, you might also look at the Cubs website which will have directions on how to get to Wrigley
