Edinburgh Travel Forum

My wife, myself and another couple are traveling to Edinburgh this winter and I found apartments to rent for a decent price at apartmentsapart.com. Has anyone ever dealt with them or heard anything about them. Or if you have any other advise on places to stay for a decent price i would love any suggestions. We are a little too old for a hostel but do want to be around a nice nightlife.

I've never dealt with them or indeed heard anything about them, which is not to say that this is a negative comment. An apartment is a great idea if you are going to be staying for longer than a week. It's what we do all over the world. However, never done it in Edinburgh as I used to live near Glasgow, so there was never any need. If and when you find an apartment, you might ask in VT re location and so on. Another thing to consider is the ease of finding somewhere that has somewhere reasonably nearby to buy staples such as eggs, milk and bread.
