My partner, daughter and I are heading to Altenahr for new year this year and just wondered if anyone else was? We've been to Altenahr before and loved it and thought it'd be great to spend New Year there and see if anyone else had the same idea :-) XxX |

Hi,
I live close to Altenahr. when and what time of year did you go to Altenahr? It is not a typical place to celebrate NYE, but you could head for Koblenz for instance in order to watch the fireworks over the city and the Rhine and Moselle valleys. It will be very quiet that time of year. The vineyards will be barren. If that's okay for you, and you liked it in general, then why indeed not go there? :) Win
