Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get between these two airports? Also, how would I go about doing this (via train).

there are not trains into the airport itself - so either taxi or service bus from the birmingham station

Take bus from Stansted to Cambridge ,return ticket 15.50GPB, goes from bay 16th on the lower platform in the front of the airport.
Stansted -Cambridge 30 miles or around 50km. Bus no 750 and it takes around 50min.
From Cambridge Drummer St Bus station there is bus to Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham bus Station. I think that bus no 047.
One way ticket last time I used(late January) was 18.30GBP.Travel duration about 3.30hrs.

Go to www.traveline.org.uk, click on south-east and then put in your information. Seems to take about 2.38 hours travel time.

From memory it's about three hours by train from Stansted to Birmingham New Street. Get off at New Street and change for a train to Birmingham International (Airport). There are frequent trains going from New Street to the airport, it takes about 15 mins.
