Hi everyone. Just need a bit of help. Our ship docks at Port Kelang in KL for one day only. How far is it into KL? Can anyone suggest what is close by that we can do?

there is a suburban train service to Kuala Lumpur, otherwise there is some interesting places in the riverdelta around Port Klang (possible with public ferry)

Hi,
You should take the suburban train and go to k.l. city(do check the timings and keep atleast one and a half hours cushion,due to heavy traffic in k.l. these days) In K.L. city check out the menara telecom towers from where you get a total view of the city with an audio explanation in different languages.This is a good beginning.then go and see the petronas twin towers which is the landmark of k.l..go and see the sky bridge on the 41st floor.check my k.l. pages and you will have a better idea.in case you dont have time to cover the rest of the places,you should at least do these two. Port Klang to KL (KL Sentral) is an hour by the KTM train system and fare is MYR4.30.
First train leave P Klang around 5am and every 15 to 30 min thereafter up to 11pm. KL Sentral to Port Klang KTM starts around 5:40am and last trip is around 11pm. You can visit Petronas Twin tower (KLCC) complex, the towers and the mall. Take the rail from KLSentral to KLCC.
