6 of us are staying at the Classic Hotel Harmonie on Ursulaplatz in December. how much is the cost of a minibus from the airport, or whould the train be easier as the station is only 300mtrs from the hotel?

20 km = EUR 31,50 plus surcharge minibus of EUR 4,70.
Estimated travel time (route planer) 45 minutes. Cologne Hauptbahnhof (main station) to the airport is by regional trains 11 minutes and by S-Bahn 14 minutes. Single ticket is EUR 2,30. Mini group (up to 5 persons) day ticket is EUR 9,80. But this one is only valid Mo-Fr from 9am till 3am next day Sa,Su from midnight till 3am next day

Most definately use the train. It takes you strait into the airport in just a few minutes.
