North America Travel Card?
Posted: Tue July 22, 2008 06:21 PM UTC
Hi,

I am planning on travelling to and from a single location several times a year. To be specific, I plan to be making trips from Boston to Toronto and back about once a month and a half or two. I tried to estimate how much this flying around would cost me a year and I came up with approximately 2000 dollars (looked up flights at expedia.ca). This isn't too bad, but I hope it could be improved.

Is there anything like a travel card, that's designed for people who travel frequently, such that in the end it would actually cost me less. I am looking only for the flights themselves, as I do have a place to stay at both ends.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Best,
Zimbabelka

Air Canada has a multi use pass but is much more expensive. For your best deal book, and pay, at least 21 days in advance of your trip and hope they have the low price space available.
United, Air Canada and American have non stop flights but, US Air has the lowest prices. You will have to change in Pittsburg or Philadelphia on US Air.

American Airlines have american pass but in the end it will end up costing more, it is useful for people who decide to fly at the last minute and for people who are flying first class. the best fares are 21 days in advance.
I have to do a certain route in the USA once a month: i have paid 199 to 599 dollars for the same itinerary. you win some and you loose some.i would advise you to fly the same airline as loyalty does pay off in a big way in the end in the USA.
