| Budapest | Laundries and Supermarkets Posted: Tue July 22, 2008 05:11 PM UTC
Hi. Can anyone tell me where I can find a self service laundry and supermarkets in Budapest? I need the actual address if possible. I don't mind the area, but am particulalry interested in laundries and supermarkets in 1, 5, 6, 9 & 11th disctricts.
I did some online searching for supermarkets and found an Auchan, but it is next to the M1/M7 motorway in district 22. I'm not looking for a big supermarket as such, just a little Match, Spar, Coop or CBA. |

Hello,
Actually there is one in disctrict 11. The address is: Lágymányosi street 10. A washing machine included the washing powder is about 800 HUF which is cc. 3,5 EUR. The drying is 200 HUF (0.85 EUR)/10 min. The website: http://www.mosomedve.hu/mm4.html you can find a match/spar/coop/cba - wherever you are - within 1 km. If you write a concrete address I can send you little shop addresses. By, Tamás

Thank you for the info and link. I have also found the address for a few Match supermarkets.

I know you are not looking for something large, but there is a large Tesco store at the Kozvagohid terminal of trams 2,24. (Also accessible by buses 23,54,55 from Boraros ter if you get off a stop beyond Kozvagohid and by tram 30 from the Ferenc korut - Mester utca intersection. Note that tram 30 would be renumbered as route 21 from 21 August.)
