Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Brussels Info about trains.
Posted: Tue July 22, 2008 01:27 PM UTC
Hi all.
We have just booked a flight to Brussels in Octouber, so we have enough time, but I want to start my research.

We are going to be one week and our plan is to visit Brussels, Brugge, Antwerpen and maybe Amsterdam. We would like to know the official website for the trains schedule and itineraries. Maybe is it too much for a week?

Do you think it is better to book hotel in one city or one night in each place?

Any special city/village we shouldn´t miss?

http://www.nmbs.be
it will get you to the site of the train schedules.
you can chose the english page and fill in the queries.
I think with those choices you will sure need a week. I would not miss Gent either.
Brussels is a good location to get you into the other cities. But somehow I think if you haven't seen and lived a city during the night, you missed it partly :)

Miguelzgz,

In order to find trains, the official website is www.sncb.be
If you would like to have B&B you can try www.bnb-belgium.com
The main city to visit are Bruges, Gent ( currently the fest of gent are really great !!!), Dinant (if you like nature), Knoke (for the beach ;)

Hope you have a good trip there !

Thank you for both answers! It is clear we must add Gent to our list.
