We will be in Chiang Mai on the 12th August, which is a public Holiday.
Can you let me know if the city comes to a stop on this important public holiday, or will you still have tour companies doing trips to the Golden Triangle etc? Are there any special events planned in the city on this day? I have most of my days planned, but I need to know if it will be possible on a public holiday. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Regards Mike |

The only things closed will be government offices and big businesses.

tour will oparate on that day.
on that day is public holiday, bank , goverment, etc will be closed. Bar alcohol drink won't be served on that day.

My husband and I are going to be in Thailand those dates too. Hope the weather is great. Do you guys have a lot of plans yet? or are you just going to make plans once you get there? Either email me here or at Erika@BrimstoneRecreation.com. I think we might head to Cambodia for a couple of days and then head up to Chaing Mai then to Phuket maybe? What about you guys? Erika
