Murree to Kaghan

How could i reach from murree or nathiagali to kaghan/naran? Does bus service run on this route? how much a jeep or taxi will charge?

do we have ATM at murree and kaghan?

It is difficult to reach directly from Nathiagali to Kaghan/Naran. Bus service runs from Nathiagali to Abbotabad. Then you can get direct Bus, Taxi/jeep from Abbotabad to Kaghan/Naran via Mansehra & Balakot.

A direct Taxi/private car may take you from Nathiagali to Naran. They will charge Rs. 2000/- at minimum.

Murree banks have ATM facility but I don't know about Kaghan/Naran. It is advisable not to rely on ATM totally.

how far is abbottabad from nathiagali? How much time will it take by bus and taxi from abbottabad to kaghan?

Well Abbotabad - Nathiagali & Nathiagali-Murree distance is almost equal (around 30 km). But frankly speaking I haven't travelled on that route. I just travelled from Murree to Nathiagali. I think you will reach Abbotabad within an hour.

I've asked a colleague about Abbotabad Naran distance. He said from Abbottabad a Toyota Hiace takes 45 minutes to reach Mansehra. From Mansehra a Toyota Hiace will take 2 hours to reach Naran. So as a whole it may take around 4 hours from Nathiagali to Naran in public transport. Estimated Hiace fare from Nathiagali to Naran is about Rs. 200/- per person. You may spare an hour while travelling in private taxi/car but it will be costly.

hows the road condition from abbottabad to naran? is it bumpy or normal?
i have 10 months old daughter so have to think before going :)

Roads are OK. Go and enjoy buddy. If you have time and planned then don't think too much.

You have to take a toyota hiace/bus from Murree to Abbottabad. As the road is sneaking downwards between Nathiagali and Abbottabad, therefore I dont think journey from Murree should take more than 3 to 4 hours. I had travelled from Abbottabad in a rocket (Bedford bus)and it took five hours.

Abbottabad-Mansehra - maximum 45 minutes as indicated by Bokhari Sb.

From Mansehra you can again take Toyota Hiace to Balakot. As its peak season in the north, therefore there is high probability that you may even get a direct connection between Mansehra/Naran.

If time permits do explore further Naran.
