we are going to sorrento early september, and thinking about camping for a week. Is this a good idea? or should we just go for a hotel?

any ideas about the weather?

Assuming you mean in a tent, I'm not at all sure where around Sorrento you would camp. Or have you sussed out a site?

You should be ok. Might be a bit chilly at night, but certainly loads better than camping in the UK in September (and people happily do that!). I was there in February this year and, to be honest, camping would have been bearable even then.

yes we are going to use that santafortunata site, although it isnt the most userfriendly site in the world!!
