Just a quick question about the drinking age.
I have found out that the drinking age is 18 but I am wondering how much it is enforced? What happens if my 16 year old son is caught drinking under the age of 18? |

which part of Borneo?
Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei or Kalimantan? because it does matter: Brunei alcohol is allowed only in hotels.

Malaysia is a moslem country but a liberal one when it comes to drinking and Sabah is inhabited by people more Christian and animist than Moslem. So i dont think your son drinking at a hotel with you will face any problem...
