| Istanbul | Shopping in Istanbul & Sabiha Gokca transfer Posted: Mon July 21, 2008 10:22 AM UTC
Hi, I am off with the girls for a couple of days to Istanbul and we would like to try and buy belly dancing outfits, can anyone suggest where might be a good place to try?
Also we arrive at Sabiha Gokca airport can anybody tell me how to get to the centre of Istanbul and how much it will cost, is it easy by public transport? |

As previously said, get the shuttle (Havas)to Taksim and from there get a taxi, taxi shouldn't be more than 6 pounds to most places where you may be staying.
Outfits are in the grand bazaar also outside so you will find them in a lot of places around Sultanahmet/Beyazit. Have fun!

Cheapest travel to the city centre is to take Havas busses.
It is 10 YTL to Taksim(centre) about 5 euros. It takes about an hour.
