| Pakistan | Ziarats in Saudi Arabia Posted: Mon July 21, 2008 04:30 AM UTC
AOA, I have planned to perform Hajj with my wife in 2009, INSHALLAH.
I want to know if Haji's are allowed to travel around in Saudi Arabia for Ziarat's during Haj season? When I say Ziarat, I am not referring to ordinary Ziarat that every one while in Mecca and Madina perform. I would like to explore further. Further, any one can recommend a book with in depth information on places to visit there. Many thanks. |

Actually whole cities of old Makkah and Madina are now included in Masjid-e-Haram and Masjid-e-nabwi s.a.w. So most of the main attractions are within Makka and Madina. There will be some around but most of the Haji prefer to concentrate on IBADAT and not wondering around.
Take the example of Madina: Haji are provided about 8 days to stay there. But they can't leave Madina because they prefer to offer 40 prayers (Namaz) at Masjid-e-Nabwi s.a.w. So they don't get extra time to travel out of Madina. But I am not sure you may get some time to visit some Ziarat which are not visited more often. For that I will advise you to post this question under Saudia Forum.
