I am travelling from Athens to Thessaloniki so arriving athens then direct.
I want to take the train to Thessaloniki, so do I catch a bus from the Airport and does it go directly to the train station Cheers all |

If you arrive at the airport at day time you can use the subway. You need to get line 3 (blue) from the airport and change at Syntagma station. There you need to take line 2 (red) and get off at Larrisa Station.
Propably there is bus too but the subway is more convenient. The whole trip will take you about an hour.

That's too complicated. Just take the Suburban Railway train from the airport to the Larissa Station. It uses the same terminal as the Metro.
