i am going to salou on the 16th of september please could you tell me what if any waterparks are open then?or if any outside of salou are open?

There is a water park at the Port Aventura theme park, it is on the outskirts of Salou, but easy to get to by bus or train.

there is also a waterpark in La Pineda which is down the road ( Tarragona) side from Salou # sorry i cannot think of the name off-hand

May be cheaper and quicker there -- it should be open at that time of year - wasn't when we arrived but that was october and a lot more of the places in La Pineda were closed too

I just returned from there last week. It's sort of the "Myrtle Beach" of Spain but the beaches were fantastic and all of the hotels (cheap and expensive alike) were wonderful. I recommend the Hotel Casablanca Playa - great buffet dinner each night and tremendous variety. As far as water parks I did not see any while there that were open.

you have Aquapolis in La Pineda, about ten minutes in the bus from Salou, towards Tarragona or a ten minute walk from Cap Salou, funnily enough in the same direction. It will be open until 13th October or there abouts.

At Port Aventura, there is the Costa Caribe Water Park though their website seems to say that they close on the 14th September.
