Hello,
I'm going to travel around Turkey in September.

Could you please let me know the schedule of overnight bus services from Pamkkale to Goreme (or somewhere around Cappadocia)?

Should I make a reservation of our seats in advance?

Dont make problem. There are many busses to Goreme from Pamukkale. You can learn about the shedule in Denizli. You need not reserve a seat just now. But It is better to buy the ticket as you came to the main Bus terminal of Denizli.
1st let me explain the words:

a- Goreme is a town of Nevsehir. Nevsehir is the capital city of the region called Cappadocia. The other towns in cappa are Urgup, Uchisar, Avanos. All busses go to Nevsehir. In nevsehir the passengers are taken by service shuttle to their destinations. eg yours : Goreme. The host at the bus asks your end destination before you reach to nevsehir. You must tell him "Goreme (Read: Goereme)

b- Pamukkale is the historical place just 10 kms from Denizli. Denizli is the capital city of the region called Pamukkale. At the main bus terminal of denizli you can ask the mini-bus called "dolmus", a Turkish transportation service to pamukkale.
