Is it true cheaper tickets available on airline websites at 12:01am?

I've heard that purchasing tickets on discount airline websites are at their absolute cheapest on Wednesday morning (just after midnight in the time zone of the airlines HQ). Is there any truth to that? Thanks.

I have noticed no pattern whatsoever in fare prices on budget carriers, and certainly nothing to suggest that Wednesday morning is a key time.

If you think about it, there would be no point in doing that.......everyone would buy the cheap fares on Wednesday mornings, and the airlines would soon lose out!.

The only certainty is that fares will rise the closer you get to your departure date.

When you check out fares, clear your cache of cookies. It seems that if you visit the same flights website more than once, you don't get the cheapest rates anymore. The cookie tracks it and remembers the information that you searched.

i like the cookie tip, but how do i just delete the cookie related to the airlines website. I don't like deleting ALL my cookies.

Well well....thatīs something Iīve always suspected, about the cookies on those websites....
