I'm planning to be in Amman in mid-October and would like to take the opportunity to visit Jerusalem. I would like to go on an English-speaking bus tour. Are they offered on Saturday and Sunday?

There are minibuses to east Jerusalem via Jericho (Palestinian Territory). You will probably be the only tourist on the bus. If you don't want to pass by Palestinian Territory you can travel to Israel via Nazareth and take a bus down to Jerusalem.
