Personally, I would simply book a room at a hotel nearby. You will find that airport seats are very uncomfortable and I am not even sure if they would let you sleep overnight in the airport. If you are very familiar with Paris you could always catch the RER and go grab something to eat in the Latin Quarter and even find a room there and catch a shuttle in the morning.
If you need more specific info about hotel rooms or transportation, let us know.

If you can afford it, get a hotel near the airport. about 75 euros. terminal 2 is busier and there is more action but all services close down and by 10 -11 pm it is like a ghost town and terminal 1 is even worse. i have seen people waiting out the night but i dont think it is encouraged or welcome.
if you are travelling with a lot of luggage the problem becomes even more difficult, since the public transportation is not very luggage friendly. if you could store your luggage ( expect to pay about 8 euros per piece), you could take the train or le bus or the bus all the way down to paris and spend a few hours there and come back around midnight back to the airport. there is absolutely nothing in the vicinity of the airport outside the terminals unless you go to the area to which you have to take a shuttle where the hotels are. come prepared to wait. bring food and water with you so that you are not dependent on the cafeteria or shops. the quality of food is just okay and more expensive than outside like everywhere else in the world. i hope more members who have had experience staying at CDG answer this enquiry. also watch terminal the movie with tom hanks, about someone from a middle eastern country who gets stuck at paris airport..

If you can get out, get out!!! CDG airpot experience will depend on what terminal you are. Like somebody else said, some terminals are good and some of them are not.
I wouldnt recommend to stay there if you have so many hours. At least you can go to a hotel and rest in a decent way. The chairs at the airport are so uncomfortable and there are terminals that are so ''small'' compared to other ones that you really wouldnt want to be there.

mmmmmm guys yes i can go out from the airport . I have 1 back pack and a small camera bag and 1 luggage !!!!! thats bad i know :(:( i will be travelling alone and its my first time for me in paris but i know the airport so well since i memorized each map of the 8 terminals in CDG ! i was thinking of taking my luggage and head to T1 and try to make an early check-in with Lufthansa to get rid of the biggest luggage LOL and then take the air france shuttle bus to the city of paris near Eiffel tower and then manage myself to come back at 3am to the airport by the metro ( and thats a problem ) . This all depends if i managed to check-in early :S:S
so guys tell me if you have another ideas and help about from where should i take the metro or the train or an early morning bus to the airport near the Eiffel tower. THANKS AGAIN GUYS YOU ARE REALLY HELPING ME :):):)

check if lufthansa would allow you an early check in. if you can check your bag directly to germany from Liban, it is better. i doubt whether you would be able to check your bag at 8 pm the night before.
you will have to store the luggage and come back in time to check in . no problem getting to town but there would be a problem if you want to come at night back.. you can check the website of metro and rer railways to see whether there are any trains or metro running at that time. the best bet is to get a hotel near the airport and check around they may have discounts available.. good luck

I had the same problem you are having now!! I came out of the terminal and tried to locate a hotel nearer to CDG .There are some hotel shuttles that take you free. But the hotels near CDG were(are) so expensive. So spent that night sleeping in the airport happily! Yes.chairs in the airport aren't comfortable.
If you can afford then get an accommodation near the airport.Otherwise spend the night in the airport. If you go to the city by taking some transport, you would be again worried to reach airport in that early morning. Why worry unnecessarly?:)
