Any recommendations for a beach holiday in Romania. We are a family hoping for a quiet spot in hotel or apartments ideally with a pool and English spoken by staff.

We have found it very difficult to find out about accommodation in Romania but we think , any help appreciated.

I'm afraid you won't find any quiet spot at Romanian beach. There are too many people. Though they are quite enough:) We liked this country very much, but not for beach holidays. We drove along the Romanian coast from Bulgarian border to the Danube Delta, there were no quite spots. English is spoken mostly by staff, but all people are friendly and will try help you even without it.

Sorry, "quiet spot" does not exist on the Romanian Black Sea Coast... Mamaia resort is a luxury home for tourists, where you can see the best thinks from the world, jewelrys, cars, famous fashions, stars and a lot of expensives prices... Mamaia seems a little bit with... Hollywood, but in Romanian versions!

ok, i guess quiet does not happen but anyone know which is the best resort for families?

The best resorts for families are located in south of Constanta, in Mangalia town. There are a few nice resorts, like Olimp, Neptun, Jupiter, Cap Aurora, Venus and Saturn. The beach is nice, the hotels having swimming pools and is more quiet like in north.
