As I saw there is no line between budapest and Novi Sad.
Maybe you can take a train. There is one at 12:39 and there is another one at 23:25. Both tour takes about 6 hours to get there, and costs about 23 EUR. http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/xslms/uf Tamás

You can use Volanbusz to get to Subotica Serbia, and than bus to Novi Sad, at 11.00, 12.30 mon-fri and at 15.15 every day.
