Do you know about CHEAP hostels in Ljubljana? Or are they easy to find in the city center?

There will be no problem finding a cheap hostel in Ljubljana, there are new ones opening all the time. But I recommend you to book in advanced at most of them can get packed, especially in summer time.

In summer 2004 I stayed in a sort of student accomodation, which is called:
Dijaski dom Ivana Cankarja and I really enjoyed my stay there.

Thank you Mircaskirca and Horscheck. I'll use your useful lists and I hope to find a place despite being a bit late for searching.
I am going to fly to Italy this Monday. After 2 days in Milan I'll head to Bulgaria by train/bus, making hop on and off in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.

Excuse me, but isn't it more convenient to go first to Croatia, then to Slovenia and after to Bulgaria?

About hostels I'd recommend BIT Center Hotel. Part of this hotel is used as hostel. Try to google a bit to find its address if you are interested.

Slovenia is between Northern Italy and Croatia, so it makes sense to go the way I told.
Thanks for your hostel advice also. If you know about hostels in Milan as well it would be nice to have contacts.

the owner is stupid and totally unservice friendly

i was mailing(in a nice way) and asking if they have wifi and told him that it can create depressions and stuff then i got an very stupid answer back and when I WANTED TO ORDER and ask if it should be possible to close the router when i stay there the answer is =why do u want to book a room with wifi

so he dont even want customers and hes totally unfriendly and it seems like they go under the saying:customer is always wrong

I found it very interesting...but...since my train will get to Ljubljana at about 2am, I'd like to contact them, and ask if check-in is possible at that hour in the night!
Do you know anything?can you give me an e-mail contact of the hostel(I can't fine it on the internet!).
