TAFL Alexandria University area hotels and apartments

Does anyone know of a nice hotel near the Center for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL) at Alexandria University. I will need a hotel first, then find an apartment for a year starting this August. The only address I can find for Alexandria University is "El-Shatby". Would appreciate any information!

Budget hotels are lot on the Conrich road Nobel, Makka, Cleopatra. For any assistance in learning Arabic never hesitate to ask me on friendly basis.
