It depends on which tribune you're going to.
Gates 2 and Main Entrance can be reached by free shuttle buses, in recent years these departed from Arpad hid metro M3 station and terminated at Mogyorod, Templom ter. From this stop, both gates are within 1.5 km on foot (max. 30 mins). Last year there was another bus service avoiding traffic jams from Mogyorod suburban railway station. This train (called Godolloi HEV) departs from Ors vezer tere metro M2 station. Bus and train schedules would be published shortly before the race at www.bkv.hu Gates 3-7 can be reached by the Godolloi HEV. During the GP, trains call at the Hungaroring temporary stop, from where these gates are within 2-2.5 kms (max. 45 mins). Alternatively, you may get off at Kerepes, from where regular local buses depart for Szilasliget. Unfortunately I'm not sure where you may get reliable info on their raceday schedules, if there's any. From Szilasliget bus terminal, gates 3-7 are within a 1-km radius, max. 20 minutes on foot. Please note that most pedestrian access roads are not paved - that means dust and mud.
