If you've flown Garuda or Jetstar from Sydney to Bali recently I am interested to know your thoughts. Boyfriend is iffy about flying Garuda, I'm worried Jetstar will cancel/change flights. Any thoughts appreciated. :-)

Sorry I haven't personally flown from Sydney via the airlines you mentioned, but I have dealt with many visitors who have flown with both, and so far this year we have had no problems with either airline, in fact we gave jetstar some problems ourselves when a number of people decided to change flight departure days, and jetstar did everything they could to help them, no delays no cancellations.

I would say there is no need to worry.

I flew Garuda last month to Bali (from Singapore). It was a 2.5 hrs flight and the service was excellant. After a lot of negative review of this airlines in the western world, Garuda authorities have cleansed and purged up the services.
I dont see any problem flying Garuda

Haven't flown Garuda from Sydney but have flown them Perth-Bali route at least 10 return trips and never had any problems. In fact we are back next month but couldnt get on Garuda all the flights are full and have to fly Indojet.
