Hi -we are visiting Gran Alacant in September as its a special birthday for my husband-so we are coming out as a family -Im having problems ordering a birthday cake-any ideas?

There are many shops in Grand Alacant, there must be also bakeries or pastisseries. In case there aren't, there is a big supermarket nearby, Mercadona, and they always have cakes and pastries.

Im not sure about a bakers in Gran Alacant but there will be one somewhere in Santa Pola, Mercadonna in the GA centre usually have a good selection of nice cakes in their fridge If in doubt ask at one of the bars in the carabassi commercial centre they know all the gossip down there Good Luck Ian
