Sounds like you have got yourself a good one! more reviews can be found at: http://www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk/greece/rhodes/
I went to Faliraki years back - my first ever holiday with mates (and without my parents)... it was brilliant. The resort's nice and the beach is lovely, so I'm sure you'll have a great time! PS. If 'Lebel' fast food is still there (it used to be close to the end of the main strip nearest the beach), give it a try, the burgers there were awesome (don't know if Alberto still runs it but he's lovely, so be nice to him if he's there!)!

I'm not sure if it not too late for my answer but try Haniotis Studios - right in the very street-corner of Faliraki. 2* studios, clean, AC, ok. I've just came back from there. The owner is a British lady.
However my opinion about Faliraki is not so brilliant - it's not Greece, it's more like mini-LasVegas by the sea side. THere's no traces of Greece. To find Greek culture, food, people etc. you must drive or take a bus to Lindos. It's even cheaper but FAR more beautiful; double room in Faliraki (very centre) = 50Euro, triple room in Lindos (very centre) = 30Euro. No travel agencies, just charter plane and provate room right from an old Greek lady. And Lindos view - one of the most beautifull towns (villages?) I've ever seen - Greece Itself! Have a nice holiday:) Greets, Anna.
