Tombs of the Kings is an area in Paphos right next to Paphos Harbour.
I can't remember the cost for entry but it really wasn't a lot.

The area is quite extensive with a couple of covered areas wher ethe more delicate mosaics are - you can scramble over the rocks and in and out of the outdoor tombs.

I believe guided tours are also available.

If you take a bus to Paphos Harbour you will easily see where to go.

I went to the Tomb of the Kings about 2 weeks ago. Well worth a visit and a bargain price to get in. I think it was less than 2 Euro to get in.

Oddly enough the Tomb of the Kings is actually on a road called the Tomb of the Kings Road. It is the main road along the coast from Paphos to Coral Bay. I guess it is about 1 km out of the old town.

You can go into many of the tombs and if you like your archaeology then it is a very interesting visit. I would avoid going in the middle of the day because it is all very open with very little shelter and you could fry! It is open until 19:30 in the evening and I would strongly suggest going pretty late if you can.

Also, the same applies to the mosaics which are in the old town right by the harbour. You can park you car there for free all day and go explore the buildings there. It is brilliant and you should allow a couple of hours. Again, like the Tomb of the Kings, it is all outside so pick the time of day of your visit carefully.

I will try to build some pages on this soon.

Have a good trip.

Peter

Ah - yes of course - Tomb of the Kings is exactly where the other reply describes - sorry - I was getting mixed-up with the Paphos Harbour Mosaics.
It is not far out of Paphos and a bus service goes past fairly frequently.
(We walked-it but it is about 30 mins walk at least in the heat!)
