| Tokyo | Travel Time - Narita - Tokyo Posted: Mon July 14, 2008 05:42 PM UTC
Hello. Our flight will touchdown at Narita International Airport around 1:00p.m. Assuming we'll be done with customs and luggage collection at 2:00pm, how long will it take to travel by car from the airport to Tokyo (Grand Hyatt Hotel)?
We heard that the trip can take as long as 3 hours during rush hour :( Will we be facing the same kind of traffic conditions given our arrival time above? Looking forward to your comments. Thanks! |

These days, depending on the number of planes arriving, around the same time, and their size, you might find yourself in a 2 - 3 hour line at immigration. The good news is that by the time you are done with that, you baggage should be ready for a quick pick up! Your trip to the hotel should be no more that 1.5 hours.

I recommend the Keisei Line Skyline express (60 minutes) or the Limited express train (70 minutes)to Ueno station then use taxi or subway to your hotel.
