Cuba Travel Forum

Hi,

A few of us are going to cuba for 2 weeks and i am wondering what is the best for of travel between places:

Is it best to get Special Taxis (there will be 4 of us)?
Or Viazul Buses ?
Or any other suggestions?

I am going to travel around cuba but i am wondering if i could get travel times for

Trinidad to Holguin
Holguin to Baroca
Cayo Coco to Havana,

Viazul has very limited schedules, so getting a taxi will give you more freedom.

Go to Cuba-Junky and link on to Viazul's site for the schedules. I have travelled the length of the Island numerous times. Just make sure if you stop over mid island to make a reservation for your next trip as you might not get a seat when you want it.

I would recommend to use viazul and maybe taxis depending where you want to go..remember with taxi you can stop anywhere..but do talk about a good price with the driver beforehand.Viazul is a good enough company and leaves on time.Enjoy your trip.
