My boyfriend has the possibility of working in Stockholm for 21 months on a contract. We are trying to find out the cost of living in Stockholm. We would be looking to rent a 1-2 bedroom apartment, it doesn't have to be central as long as it is not too far. Please can anyone give me an idea of cost? Thanks

I think you can pay anything from 3000 SEK up a lot depending on which area is Stockholm you want to live. Here is one link that might help.

I too will be living in Stockholm for a little while, though mine is only for one year. Have you figured out how much it costs to live over there? It is very similar to NYC, where as I live in Charlotte, NC, so it is going to be tough getting used to not having disposable income. I figured that I need to make the equivalent of $300,000 over there to live a similar life style to what I have here. Not gonna happen on the $68,000 my husband has been offered. It should be interesting. At least it's a foreign country for a year!
