| Northern Ireland | Derry/Giant's Causeway Posted: Mon July 14, 2008 09:25 AM UTC
I'll be in the Derry area for a couple of days in late November. Besides the walled city and the crafts market, and the Giant's Causeway, what else should I try to see or experience? What kind of weather can I expect?
Thanks in advance for your help. |

I was at the causeway 3 weeks ago on our trip.around the british isles personally I thought the causeway was a waste of time. neet though.at that time of year it will be cold. it was very breezey along the coast. there is a rope bridge near the causeway but I heard it is scary.

It will be cold and windy in November but I think that's a good time to visit. My first trip to Northern Ireland was in November. Will you be driving? The train from Derry to Coleraine/ Portrush is a very scenic ride. A drive along the Causeway Coast is magnificent. In the area you have Dunluce castle and Bushmills (the Distillery and the Bushmill's Inn). Personally, I think the Giant's Causeway is beautiful but maybe you have to like that sort of thing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your trip.
