Hi, Can anyone tell me if there's a nice place in Kemang area where a local/foreign band plays LATIN music? I will be going to Jakarta from August 10-14

Salsa night every last Saturday of the month, starting from about 9:00-9:30pm.
Live latin music provided by the “Latin Move” band (composed of mixed Indonesian & 2 expats) and Louisa and Elkin from Colombia provide salsa lessons for a fee.

Grapes Café
Jalan Kemang Selatan (near Dela Rossa Restaurant)
Salsa night every first and third Fridays of the month, from 9pm. Salsa instructors provide lessons for a fee.


Grand Canyon Café

Salsa night every Friday and Saturday from 10pm. The “Los Marianitos” band plays Latin music. There is a cover charge of Rp 25,000.
Damaris from Cuba provides salsa lessons for a fee.
Also on Wednesday nights, the Primavera Band (mixed Indonesian & Latin musicians) play latin music starting from 9PM.
