We have just opened a library in Moree, a Ghanaian village, and have started supporting the education of the children there. This is where we are planning to organise an international work-camp this autumn. We intend to build a volunteer village – a few simple buildings with basic facilities that would make ideal accommodation for our volunteers during their stay in Moree whenever we send someone over.
Let’s build a volunteer village together !
We are looking for volunteers , preferably handymen or skilled construction workers, that would be willing to spend a few weeks in Ghana as team members. The tentative timeframe we are working on for the work camp is mid-November to mid-December, the exact dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed. Our volunteers will be asked (apart from covering their travel expenses) to kindly contribute around 600 USD each in order to cover the cost of the necessary materials and equipment. The more volunteers we have, the cheaper it will be for every participant. And, of course, the more the merrier!
