to buy underwater/warerproof digital cameras is cheaper than singapore or kuala lumpur (I will be in kuala lumpur in July / August in the period of mega sale carnival)?

Depending on the brand that you are getting.... But usually it is cheaper to get the camera in singapore as even the malaysians buy them here.... and we do have international warranty here in singapore but that depends on the store that you buy them from... (so please ask for international warranty before purchasing) and we are currently havin the great sigapore sale right now.... so you might be able to get some bargains.....

without any doubt buy from singapore. i usually buy my gadgets from singapore with intl warranty.

i'd say singapore.. but msia is having their grand sale soon.

have you got a model in mind? i have an olympus 850SW, its waterproof up to 3m. quite a good camera. i bought it at audio house, its a electronics specialist store at liang court, they offer very good prices there.
