I want to visit Jamaica I have never been outside of the USA and am very excited about Jamaica how should I go by boat, plane, train? Where should I stay? What can I do? I know I want to see the blue water and I love to swim when is the best time to visit? Help and how much does it all cost?

I don't think you should go by train from the USA to Jamaica! Boat would mean a cruise, which will be expensive. So you had probably better fly, maybe to Montego Bay rather than Kingston, which you can do from e.g. New York.
High season is December to April, when it is much more expensive. It rains in May-June and October-November. How much it costs depends on exactly where you go and what sort of place you want to stay in. I would suggest you visit a travel agent for some brochures to get some basic information on what is available and basis for comparing costs of booking directly. Cannot figure out if you are asking a serious question - dont know where you are from , but if some body told you Jamaica by train, proably meant Jamaica Queens (NY), by all means go by train to NY and then take the subway.
If you are talking about the island country Jamaica, take a boat (cruise) from Fort Lauderdale or from Miami, you will see plenty of blue water, get to swim all you want, gamble. Seeing that you have never been outside USA, just dont go by yourself.
