| Aix-en-Provence | Visiting Aix in September Posted: Sat July 12, 2008 04:48 PM UTC
We are staying in Aix for a week in September (2 adults) and we are looking for budget self-catering, possibly even renting a tent on a nearby campsite. Any recomendations? We have found very little online so far.

We use the Gites de France for self-catering houses and apartments. The prices vary but many are very inexpensive and probably more comfortable than a campsite. http://www.gites-de-france.com/gites/uk/rural_gites
We've used them for years and never had a problem. We've also met some wonderful people who rented to us. It's inexpensive and fun.
