i will be in seoul on 21/7 at 6.35 am. then i will register at prayer mountain. i estimate that i would have about half a day (10am - 5pm). would appreciate suggestions from fellow vts on where i could go - place/s of interest. this is my first trip there, do not know korean language.

JC Kim's link is a good one.
You should tell more about what you would like to do. There are many nice temples and palaces (like Changdeokgung Palace). There are parks and gardens. There are also such historical sites like the Japanese Prison/Torture museum (Seodaemun Prison History Hall). All are easy enough to navigate to without speaking Korean.
