Hi,
Am am Indian businessman who is keen to open some business in Pristina.
Could somebody advise on where to get the desired information regarding business norms along with visa procedures and some tourist agencies which could arrange my visit hasslefree. I am supposed to be visiting by 20th july this year.

July 20... It's July 13 now. And you do not know about visas...are you kidding?
It ***** looks like ***** you do not need visa to visit the area of Pristina. Not sure about Serbian-controled areas (aka K-Mitrovica) and I am 100% sure, you will need visa to EVERY country within 3000 km radius of Prishtina.

I would get MK, AL, SR, CG, BiH MULTIPLE-ENTRY visa at minimum and if possible, a Schengen multiple-entry visa, too. Also remember, if you fly to PR, you have to change planes in some visa-necessary country and in most cases they demand airport transit visa for Indian citizens.

Flying to BG, than to TR by JAT seem to be a lesser visa-hassle, but you WILL need Albanian transit visa and possibly Serbian Airport-visa. Both probably easier for Indian citizens than, say, German or Hungarian airport-visa.

I would say, you are very-very late and if you get to PR without major visa headache, you are a lucky man.

Be prepared for a major price-shock, too. There is nothing cheap in the area anymore. If you think in USD currency, the prices look like from a horror movie. At least that's the case in BP and BG. I will check out PR later this year, but I am prepared for worst.

Flat rental in PR said to be never under 500-600 Euros (a friendly price!), normal is in 1K range. For Serbia Proper: a tiny cake in the BG downtown in a trendy cafe was offering itself yesterday for ca. 5 Euro.
In BG, a metered taxi (if not arranged in advance by calling) was 50 Euro from the airport. Of course, you can eat like a king for 7 Euro/person, but the locals have to tell you where.

Without help of a host you will go broke very quickly.

"Enjoy" the Dollar's value... :(
