hi....I'm going to be in Tanzania in August, climbing kili of course....I have around 6 free days and am looking at booking a safari, but wondering if it is worth trying to do so once I'm there, rather than booking it now (from Canada). Any ideas as to whether this might save a buck or two?
Many thanks! |

I have been twice - the first time I booked via a UK travel firm and it was expensive, but worth it. The second time I booked directly with the same safari company in Arusha and it saved loads of money. They were excellent, picked us up from Kilimanjaro airport and really looked after us. www.tropicaltrails.com
I'm sure there are loads of other firms doing the same thing, and you will probably find some even cheaper, but these were first class and I couldn't fault them. Have a brilliant time and I am very jealous!

I am not that satisfied with the company i used.
So i will not recommend my company to you. BUT i like my guide- Salim Said, very much! He is really professional! Whenever we asked him what is the name of the bird? what is the name of the antelope? He can always give us the answer and tell us the habitats of the animal. he is very knowledgeable! he helped us spot out more than 40 lions and some cheetahs! of course it depends on lucks too LOL. Salim got his own company. if u r interested in emailing him, feel free to ask me for his email address.
