Kos Getting married in kos
Posted: Fri July 11, 2008 06:49 PM UTC
I and my partner are thinking of getting married in Kos and was wandering if anybody would be able to recommend a specific hotel we are looking to go all inclusive as we have 3 children and we all know how much kids can eat and would also like to know more about the actual ceremony and what we could do for a reception we have roughly 10 family members travelling with us. We would also like to know about the paperwork involved and when would be the best time to go out there looking forward to seeing replies.
many thanks

Hi Natalie!
I hope some day, marry on an island too!
I don't know why you two choose Kos - i guess you have your reasons! - so i found a site that will help you! http://www.ionianweddings.co.uk/wedding_of_the_month.asp

but i would suggest you to take a look to some other destinations...

Natalie i found the necessary documentation:
1.Copies of passports of the bride and groom.
2.Proof of eligibility for marriage for both bride and groom. (Divorce certificate if applicable or single status certificate)
3.Birth certificates for bride and groom along with proof of current address.
4.Application to marry signed by both parties

Translation into Greek and approval of the translation can be done by the Greek Consulate of your country.

bye
